About Us

The Ulster Automobile Club currently has over 220 members whose ages span almost seven decades and are scattered across the seven continents.

The majority of our members are competitors, however we have a small dedicated band of supporters who help to promote and organise our events.

We consider our Club to be unique because we provide competitors with opportunities to participate in five different motorsport disciplines; Autotests, Closed Road Stage Rallies, Hill Climbs, Sprints, Targa Rallies and a variety of social events; treasure hunts, quizzes, bingo and film nights and more.

We are a progressive Club and believe in supporting our young members through our Future Champions Support Programme. We have given £500 each to four of our young female and four of our young male members to help their development and progression in motorsport. Details of the recipients and their exploits can be found on our website (www.ulsterautomobile.club) and facebook pages.

The Ulster Automobile Club is one of the largest motor clubs in Ireland having approximately 300 members

When the Club was established in 1925 its name was the Ulster Automobile Sports Club (U.A.S.C.) and it was affiliated to the Royal Irish Automobile Club (R.I.A.C.) in Dublin. The inclusion of the word “Sports” in the name was very deliberate – the founders of the club were aware that there were plans for an Ulster Automobile Club, similar to the Royal Automobile Club (R.A.C), which would represent motorists generally (and not just motor sport).

We are preparing exciting and innovative plans to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of our Club in 2025. Always keen to recruit new members we would welcome anyone willing to help us plan for this special event.  We also look forward to involving new members at our events which are listed on the club website, www.ulsterautomobile.club

Every year we raise funds to support charities and The Macmillan Unit in Antrim Area Hospital will be the beneficiary of our efforts in 2023.

Join the folks who organise and deliver some of the most iconic motorsport events in Northern Ireland. 2023 is going to be an absolute cracker so why not come and enjoy the craic and banter with us.

Our membership form can be found on rallyscore.net (membership registration forms).

See you out there!

Many other members are successful in these and other motorsporting disciplines and we are looking  forward to some more excellent performances to come from all our Club members. We are keen to recruit new members so:
